Less than two years ago, Ogilvy Barcelona decided to launch its corporative accelerator, Ogilvy Upcelerator.
Such has been the success of the initiative, that the WPP Group has commissioned the office to export the model to NYC, Singapore and London.
"Barcelona will be the general quarter of the project, and from here we will help launch the accelerators," says Diego Fernández, Director of Upcelerator.

Unilever, Carrefour, Nestlé, Betevé, Gaes, Vodafone, SABA, Prisa and BIC have already participated.
The Brand Encounters are part of our actions to boost Startups business while offering cutting edge solutions to high-profile brands.
Bitbrain, the Aragonese Startup that's in Ogilvy Upcelerator's program, was in Las Vegas at this year's CES, one of the most important tech fairs around the globe.
At the event, the company, specialized in neurotechnology and applied neuroscience, presented a pioneer technology for cognitive improvement, that monitors the brain and improves work memory, processing speed and sustained attention.
In an interview with El Economista, Mafe González, CEO and co-founder of MOCA, spoke about the journey and future of the mobile engagement Startup, that was born with the aim of "understanding the person in the physical world, in any ecosystem and in any environment" and that already has clients such as the Mobile World Congress and Inditex.
Today they are in the middle of a financing round for half a million.

IBM and Ogilvy UK joined forces in London to carry out a Hackathon with developers that wanted to work and expand their knowledge on Artificial Intelligence, while doing some networking.

More than 20 entrepeneurs from the catalonian agency ACCIÓ came to our offices to attend a session where, in addition to getting to know our program, they were able to learn about Digital Marketing applications for their Startups.

For the third time, MOCA was elected as the Proximity Marketing Provider at the Mobile World Congress that was held this year between the 02/27 and 03/02 in Barcelona.
The startup has a location-based mobile engagement platform, that can transform any app into a powerful channel of communication with hypersegmented messages that are customized to each user.

How to create the perfect automobile? That was the question that Seat tried to answer at the Paris Motorshow 2016, made between the 1st and 16th of October.
With the help of BitBrain, an innovative Startup specialized in neuromarketing, the automotive company brought to the assistants a device that helped to create the perfect Ateca, the new SUV model of the firm.
Named as BitBrain Car Configurator, it measured the mental stimulus from people who approached the enabled devices in the Seat space at the event, gathering data from the subconscious of thousands of people to set the ideal vehicle.

Con la innovación y colaboración de Startups como tema central de la sesión, el pasado jueves 30 de junio se realizó en ESADECREAPOLIS la conferencia “Cómo colaborar con Startups y no morir en el intento”.

La app Visit Benidorm está disponible de forma gratuita para dispositivos iOS y Android.
Un espacio de encuentro e intercambio entre profesionales, empresas y emprendedores para fomentar la innovación en el sector del retail. Eso es el Retail Forum de ESADECREAPOLIS, una iniciativa de ESADE con la que Ogilvy Upcelerator colaboró desde su experiencia.

¿En qué se fija un aficionado del Real Madrid durante la retransmisión televisiva de un “Clásico”?, ¿y un hincha del Barça?, ¿suda más un “culé” o un “merengue”?
Especializada en neurociencia y neurotecnología, BitBrain, una de las Startups que forma parte de Ogilvy Upcelerator, realizó el primer experimento a nivel mundial para medir las emociones de dos hinchas durante la retrasmisión del partido de fútbol entre FC Barcelona y Real Madrid.
La innovadora actividad, realizada en la cadena autonómica de Cataluña TV3, registró más de 195.000 emociones durante el “Clásico” y permitió constatar, por ejemplo, que los goles en contra generan más emociones que los goles a favor.
